Your privacy matters to us — which is why KJ Invoice was deliberately built without a backend server or database. This policy explains exactly what that means for you.
The invoice generator tool runs entirely within your web browser using client-side HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Any information you type into the form — business names, client details, item descriptions, amounts, dates — is processed locally on your device to build the live invoice preview. This information is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by KJ Invoice.
KJ Invoice does not require account creation and has no user database. We cannot access, retrieve, or recover any invoice you create, because that data simply does not exist outside your own browser tab.
Once you close or refresh the browser tab, all invoice data entered into the generator is permanently cleared. If you want to keep a copy, download the invoice as a PDF before closing the page.
Our Contact Us page includes a message form. In its current static configuration, this form does not transmit data anywhere by default. If connected to a third-party form service, any information submitted (name, email, message) would be handled according to that provider's privacy policy, and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
KJ Invoice does not use tracking cookies within the invoice generator. If website analytics (such as aggregate visit counts) are used to understand overall site traffic, this data is anonymized and is not linked to any invoice content you create.
Our blog and site may link to third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites, and we encourage you to review their policies separately.
KJ Invoice is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
